The main activity of the department is the organization and conduct of preventive disinfection of objects and products in order to prevent the spread of dangerous and harmful plants, fungi, as well as insects, arachnids, animals and birds that are pests or carriers of diseases.

The department carries out sanification:

• mills, elevators, flour mills, grain shops, unloaded storage
• products in bags (groceries, dried foods, vegetables, grains, etc.)
• grain in silos (in the process of  grain transfering on the conveyor belt)
• grain stored in bulk (under the coverings in warehouses of all types)
• grain and grain products in wagons and grain barges
• vehicles: railway carriages, cars, river and air transport
• objects of the agro-industrial complex
