The department of bacteriology conducts current diagnostic studies of pathological material and feces from agricultural, domestic and wild animals (including birds, bees, fish, animals) in order to prevent, eliminate and non-proliferate bacterial and parasitic diseases, animal mycoses, and protect public health from diseases common to humans. and animals. The same department carries out research on feed and swabs for sanitary - mycolic indicators; soil for sanitary and bacteriological indicators and sanitary - parasitological studies of environmental objects, fruit and vegetable, fruit and berry and plant products.

The department of bacteriology is a structural subdivision of the Oryol testing laboratory of the FSBI CNMVL. The department employs experienced, highly qualified specialists who have the appropriate education and regularly undergo advanced training courses in research institutes and laboratories. The competence of the specialists of the department is annually confirmed during the interlaboratory comparative tests.

  • The department conducts bacteriological studies on the diagnosis of infectious diseases (including especially dangerous ones) such as: anthrax, tuberculosis, brucellosis, listeriosis, pasteurellosis, staphylococcus, streptococcosis, anaerobic infections, salmonellosis, erysipelas, edema, necrobacteriosis. opportunistic microflora and other diseases.
  • Studies on parasitic diseases: helminthiasis (dictiocaulosis, ascariasis, cestodiasis, fascioliasis, strongylotosis, trichocephaliasis, nematodiroz, toxocarosis, dipilidiosis, drepanidoteniasis, etc.); protozoa (eymeriozy, piroplasmidozy, toxoplasmosis, trichomoniasis, etc.); acarosis (sarcaptosis, psoroptosis, demodicosis, otodectes).
